Growing up in New York Devlin Carter says he always wanted to be rich and successful. Taking a look at his clothing and accessories line you can see the urban influence with the hoodies and sneakers. There is also a high fashion element with the creative colors and handbags. This is not your typical urban brand. Devlin clearly has a vision to take urban clothing where Karl Kani, FUBU, Rocawear and Sean John has never gone before. Get to know this young and growing fashion designer.

  1. I have been following Devin Carter Somewhere In America brand since I listened to his interview on the breakfast club. I love his commitment to his craft and the knowledge he spreads for young black business owners trying to make it in the sneaker/apparel world. I have purchased 3 pair of shoes from his brand. I love how comfortable they are and the unique design of the shoes. When I first ordered I felt the wait time from ordering to the sneakers being sent was long. that was because I did not understand the order production shipping process. Once I truly understood that the shoes are custom made to order it made a lot more sense why it took 4 months to receive my shoes. I would say the shoes are definitely worth the price. As a consumer we spend $250 dollars on products like Nike and Jordan but want a discount because the company is a black owned veteran business. I also support the company because Devin is a veteran making a name for himself and family.
