CBS is officially expanding its powerhouse franchise with NCIS: New York, a new spinoff set to premiere in fall 2026. The series brings back LL Cool J as fan-favorite agent Sam Hanna, now returning to his hometown to lead high-stakes investigations in New York City.
He’ll be joined by actor Scott Caan, with the duo heading a new team tasked with protecting one of the most critical cities and ports in the world. The show will air on CBS as part of its Tuesday night lineup, continuing the legacy of one of television’s most successful crime franchises.
The new series signals CBS’s push to grow the NCIS universe even further, while giving longtime fans a familiar face in a fresh, New York-based storyline.
