Kevo Muney helped numerous South Memphis children on Friday put a big smile on their faces. Dr. Marrio "Smiles" Thomas and Muney, 22, worked together to give free dental cleanings to 40 Memphis Delta Prep fifth graders.

Kevo Muney talked about supporting the neighborhood.

"It was something different and... me having a relationship I have with Dr. Marrio, it just made sense," Muney said. "It really just puts two dots together because I know he be putting the work in the community on his own... I know if we came together, he would have helped make everything come true."

Muney, who was the eighth kid out of eight and was born Kevione Austin, claimed he didn't have access to dental care as a young child. Thomas and Muney started dating in 2018 and have kept in touch ever since.

With over 200 million worldwide plays and RIAA gold certification, Kevo's song "Leave Some Day" topped the charts on Apple Music, Spotify, SoundCloud, and Shazam. Additionally, you can listen to and download the amazing "Leave Some Day (Remix) [Feat. Lil Durk]" HERE. Nearly 15 million people have seen the song's original music video on YouTube.

In his native Memphis, Kevo Muney has become known for restoring the soul in hip-hop with strong lyrics that are written from a place of truth and honesty; some of these songs are uplifting and motivating, while others are steeped in anguish and personal hardship. At the moment, he has more than 300 million streams globally. Muney, the oldest of eight kids, grew up in a rough part of South Memphis. When he was ten years old, Kevo started singing on Beale Street to help his family. He began uploading freestyles on Facebook and rapping over whatever noises he could find online as his skill level increased. Before "I Grind (Feat. King Arti)," his local breakout single from 2017, a number of street mixtapes garnered underground acclaim. The next year saw the release of the blockbuster mixtape BABY G.O.A.T, which went viral and featured the tracks "Everything Changed," "Crying Out Loud," and "Oh God (Feat. BlocBoy JB)".

In 2019, Muney joined Atlantic Records, and his song "Leave Some Day," which has amassed more than 200 million global plays and gained RIAA gold certification, topped the charts on Apple Music, Spotify, SoundCloud, and Shazam.
