Spate Magazine Interview With OSTN (ReverbNation)

Tell the people a little bit about who you are.

I’m very creative, spontaneous, and adventurous. What I love the most is that I don’t look like I make music when people see me, so I am a musical surprise. If that makes any sense.

How did you get into rapping?

My friends Beau Baker and Tahj O, used to walk around with me in high school and free style about like everything we seen, and it was just a cool thing we did. Then years later people told me I was great at rapping, and they suggested that I should start writing, so I did and things have taken off since then.

Are there a lot of opportunities for your music where your from? Performing, exposure etc...

Yes to all of that, currently I’m working with people that have a huge circle of important people to network with and it’s awesome!

Where do you see yourself in 3 years?

Sitting at my huge house with my wife (current girlfriend),
Doing what we do and growing with music and our family.

Do you produce your own music or you have a production team?

I have a production team, one of my producers has been to the Grammys twice, and my other one is about to be there with my music along with my girl Joy B’s music.

Tell us about your label, management or team?

I don’t have a label, nor a manager, but I do have mentors, and videographers, and starting to just get people inside of my circle that are going to benefit from our progression when it comes to the arts of music.

How do you feel about the state of hip hop right now?

I feel like I can help raise the standard again. Their are lots of people that have heard my music but then again there are lots that haven’t so it’s going to be a simple game changer and I’m excited. But to fully answer the question I think it could be better.

What are some of the artists your listening to right now?

It may seem weird but I typically only listen to my music and or write new songs. Occasionally I’ll listen to Russ, Drake, Jaden Smith or XXXtentacion.

What artists can you say really inspired you to make music?

Usher, J Cole, and Logic.

Where can people find you online? (Any last shoutouts)

Shout out to Project Laing, my girl Joy B, MaxxMarvel, and Bam Keith for helping me progress and for digging my potential out of me.
