Big Sean lands first Number One album

Congrats are in order for Big Sean, who has just scored his first No. 1 album. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper’s winning streak continues as his junior LP, Dark Sky Paradise, tops the Billboard 200 this week after moving 173,000 units (139,000 pure sales). That’s Sean’s highest first-week tally ever, almost doubling Hall of Fame‘s first-week numbers of 72,000.

Elsewhere on the albums chart, Kid Rock’s First Kiss comes in at a close second with sales of 137,000 — just 2,000 less than Big Sean — while Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late falls to the No. 4 spot with additional sales of 99,000. The mixtape’s total sales now stand at 683,000.
