The mega-fight boxing fans have been craving is finally going to happen. TMZ reports that Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have come to terms on what will be the highest grossing fight in boxing history.
The two sides had been negotiating, but seemed to reach a snag because of Mayweather's disdain for Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter.
All the particulars have been agreed to. The fighters will sign the paperwork soon. The bout will take place May 2 in Las Vegas. The weight limit will most likely be 147 pounds. Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KOs) holds the WBO Welterweight belt. Mayweather has an undefeated record of (47-0, 26 KOs). He currently holds the WBC, WBA and The Ring Welterweight titles.
