Steven Young (born September 9,1994), known professionally as Steven Young is an American R&B/Hip Hop, producer and singer-songwriter. Steven was born in the Bronx,NY., and became attracted to R&B and Hip Hop music at the young age of ten. As a kid he always had a passion for singing and playing the drums. He began to demonstrate his talents in church by singing in the choir while still doing what he loved which was playing the drums. As a teen, he became a member of a group formed by a few high school friends, as the main pianist, Steven Young began to write songs for the group and instantly became the main writer for all future projects, After much introspection, Steven made the decision to work on his solo project.

While at a music seminar Steven Young was discovered by Ian Holder, Vice President of A&R at Sony/ATV Music Publishing. While working under Sony/ATV Steven wrote songs for (placement) international artist Wiz Khalifa, R&B superstar Jason Derulo also Trey Songs, Chris Brown and also worked with RNB singer Ushers brother and did collaborations with Hip Hop star Smoke DZA & Vado. Steven also appeared on the international reality television singing competition, "The Voice", where he successfully completed three rounds of auditions in 2012/2013 & also Americas Got Talent before being disqualified for not having a personal "story".

His latest single "Issues" featuring Swavehmg, and produced by JKLassic, is a song all listeners can relate to. It speaks to relationships and the potential hardships that come along with being monogamous, this song was being played on XM radio Shade 45, Stay tuned for his highly anticipated single entitled "Happy" featuring Hip Hop artist Smoke Dza which will soon have the radio and clubs dancing and Vibing to this smash single, Steven is constantly releasing new music, check his social media for updates.
