Drake has added another major Billboard milestone to his already historic career.
The Toronto superstar’s “Janice STFU” has reportedly spent 19 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart, making it Drake’s longest-running chart-topper on the ranking.
The achievement pushes “Janice STFU” past one of Drake’s most recognizable records, “Hotline Bling,” which previously held his personal record with 18 weeks at No. 1.
Drake Surpasses “Hotline Bling”
“Hotline Bling” became one of the defining songs of Drake’s career after its release in 2015. Beyond its commercial success, the record became a massive cultural moment fueled by its memorable music video, memes and Drake’s continued rise as one of the biggest artists in popular music.
More than a decade later, Drake has managed to surpass that run with another record.
Reaching 19 weeks at No. 1 demonstrates the staying power of “Janice STFU” at a time when streaming and social media can cause songs to rise and fall on the charts extremely quickly.
Drake’s Billboard Run Continues
The milestone adds another accomplishment to Drake’s extensive Billboard résumé.
Throughout his career, Drake has consistently combined rap, R&B and pop influences, allowing his music to reach audiences far beyond traditional hip-hop.
That crossover appeal has helped him become one of the most commercially successful artists of the streaming era.
“Janice STFU” extending its run at the top of the Hot Rap Songs chart shows that Drake continues to generate significant listener interest even after years of chart dominance.
New Music Is Already Coming
Drake also isn't allowing the Billboard milestone to slow his release schedule.
The rapper is preparing HABIBTI (FOMO), bringing additional music to fans while “Janice STFU” continues its strong chart performance.
That strategy could help Drake maintain momentum heading into the final months of 2026, particularly if the new material generates additional streaming and social-media activity.
Another Chapter in Drake’s Career
Perhaps the biggest story isn't simply that Drake broke one of his own records.
It's that he continues setting new career milestones more than a decade after songs such as “Hotline Bling” helped establish him as one of music's dominant commercial forces.
“Janice STFU” now has its own place in Drake's Billboard history.
With more music arriving, the question becomes how much further Drake can extend his current run.
