Suge Knight Refuses to Testify in Tupac Shakur Murder Trial, Warns Both Sides to “Leave Me Out of It”

Suge Knight is making it clear that he wants no part of the Tupac Shakur murder trial.

Nearly 30 years after Tupac was fatally shot in Las Vegas, Duane “Keffe D” Davis is now on trial, accused of orchestrating the 1996 killing.

Suge Knight, who was driving the BMW with Tupac sitting beside him when the shooting happened, could become one of the most important witnesses in the case.

But Suge says he does not want to testify.

Speaking with ABC News, Knight said that whether prosecutors or Keffe D’s defense team bring him to court, things may not work out the way they expect. His message was simple: “Leave me out of it.”

Knight also maintains that his refusal has nothing to do with his loyalty to Tupac. Instead, he says he does not believe in taking the witness stand and helping send another man to prison.

At the same time, Suge argues that Keffe D has already hurt his own case through years of interviews, statements and his memoir discussing the events surrounding Tupac’s death.

Now, with jury selection underway, one of hip-hop’s biggest unsolved mysteries is entering a historic new chapter.

The big question is: if Suge Knight is ultimately called to testify, what will he actually say?
