Due to both artists' record-breaking releases, Drake and Lil Baby ended the year tied for the most Billboard Hot 100 places of 2022.
The regular partners scored 40 Hot 100 hits this year, according to Chart Data, including their combined work on DJ Khaled's "STAYING ALIVE," which peaked at No. 5 in August. The song has also appeared on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs year-end chart from Billboard.
With 30 such positions throughout the course of his career, Drake was also able to surpass The Beatles' 55-year record for the most Top 5 singles on the charts thanks to "STAYING ALIVE." His solo tune off Khaled's GOD DID, "No Secret," was also among the Hot 100 songs.
Most of Drake's Hot 100 singles came from his two eagerly awaited 2022 albums.
Sincerely, Nevermind produced a total of five songs that reached the Hot 100 in its first week: "Jimmy Cooks" (No. 5), "Sticky" (No. 17), "Massive" (No. 44), "Falling Back" (No. 64), and "Texts Go Green" (all featuring 21 Savage) (No. 3). Drake's 11th number-one song on the charts, "Jimmy Cooks," debuted at No. 1 on the list.
In the following weeks, other songs from the album, such as "Oceans," "Calling My Name," "A Keeper," and "Flights Booked," also appeared on the charts.
