Rapper PnB Rock talked about how other musicians felt like they were being targeted for robbery only days before he was fatally shot in Los Angeles.

PnB Rock said that criminals in the city were "bold" and shared a story about a time when he, his girlfriend, and his child were being followed in an interview with YouTuber DJ Akademiks about a week before he was shot and killed during a robbery while at Roscoe's House of Chicken 'N Waffles on Monday.

You don't want to be nervous, so I'm trying to be calm, he remarked. You desire the greatest level of peace for your family.

Robberies targeting members of the rap business, he claimed, are "frequent."

The rapper declared, "I never was robbed, ever in my life." "I won't say 'never,'" I haven't been robbed, but I'm not superstitious either.

PnB Rock continued by saying that he avoided going to places like nightclubs where he would be preyed upon by those leading a "gangster" lifestyle.

Because he was aware of the outcomes, he said, "I'm not going to put myself in such positions."

PnB and a friend were "enjoying a simple meal" when they were "brutally attacked by an individual," according to Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michael Moore. Police believe the attacker "came to the location after a social media posting of the artist and the woman accompanying him" identified where they were eating on Instagram.

"Mr. PnB Rock was shot and murdered and lost his life there, only for the jewels and things he had on his person, Moore said. A scuffle then broke out.

According to LAPD, the murder investigation is still open.
