DOJA CAT & NICKI MINAJ’S “SAY SO” REMIX TOPS BILLBOARD CHARTS

DOJA CAT & NICKI MINAJ’S “SAY SO” REMIX TOPS BILLBOARD CHARTS

Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj just scored their first Billboard No. 1 as their “Say So (Remix)” debuted straight to the top of the Billboard 100 singles chart.

Doja Cat earns her third Hot 100 entry, while Nicki Minaj tallies her 109th, her 18th in the Top 10.

Nicki’s journey leading to No. 1 is the longest by Hot 100-charting artist. She made her debut in the Top 100 in April of 2010. In addition, Nicki Minaj also has the most Hot 100 entries by a female artist in the chart’s history, and now ties Elvis Presley for the fourth-most entries among all acts.

“Say So” knocks out last week‘s No. 1 entry held by Travis Scott and KiD CuDi’s “The Scotts“, which dropped to No. 12. Doja Cat and Nicki’s debut credits two women in nearly six years to occupy the No. 1 spot, since Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” featuring Charli XCX in 2014.

Elsewhere on the charts, the ladies continue to dominate as Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage (Remix)” with Beyonce climbs from No. 4 to No. 2.

Meanwhile, Drake has two Top 10s currently on the charts. Drizzy’s “Toosie Slide” slips also from No. 3 to No. 4. His Dark Lane Demo Tapes-track “Pain 1993” featuring Playboi Carti debuts this week at No. 7, which now ties Madonna with the most Top 10 hits of 38 entries.

All 14 songs from the new tape have also charted on the Hot 100 given him a total of 222 entries in that category. The Boy also ties the most Top 10s with 15 entries and extends his record for the most top 40 hits to 111 entries. (RapRadar)
