Deontay Wilder reveals aspirations to unify cruiserweight division after beating Anthony Joshua

Deontay Wilder has revealed he might move down in weight after he unifies the heavyweight division. The WBC champion is expected to take on Anthony Joshua at some point in the future in a fight that will see all four major world titles up for grabs. Wilder has consistently slimmed down since his heavyweight debut and relies more on his athleticism and range than his weight.

The 32-year-old is in talks to fight Joshua at the end of the year, but revealed to fans he fancies becoming a two-weight undisputed world champion. ‘What’s up boxing world? I’ve just been sitting in my car, thinking,’ he said. ‘I’ve been thinking about, once I unify the heavyweight division, moving down the cruiserweight division and taking over that division.
