Alot of oldschool rappers are trying to make comebacks right now. You have EPMD, Fatboys and others. I'm a big fan of EPMD but nowadays you have the internet and its a new media. Can oldschoolers adapt to the new media and actually sell some downloads and ringtones. Hip Hop is a very fickle industry, one minute they love you and the second they don't. How can a group like EPMD sell records in an industry that is not selling records. Their goal may not be to sell records maybe they want that show money. I wonder how much EPMD can get for a show nowaday. If Seankingston gets 15,000 how much should they get? I'm a big fan of EPMD but the people that bought their records years ago now have families and probably not thinking too much about hip hop. So now they have to introduce themselves to a totally new audience thats online. I don't see them utilizing youtube or blogging. That means they are not gonna reach the young people. Hey E, start a blog man and talk to the young people ma dude.
